It's a bit late for today's recipe update, but was having a busy day today.
It was a public holiday here, so we made treats that we can't make when we are busy with week schedule as this needs a bit of time for prep.
Seeing them enjoying the healthy food make us smile even though we grab junk food for ourselves just because we say BUSY for proper meal :-P
Organic chicken meatballs with veggies ♥
Carrot is one of super food for pooches, but not every pooches like them. But don't worry, they will dig this one.
♥ You will need ♥
Minced Organic Chicken Breast
Cooked Green Beans
Chopped Carrot
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, add small amount of organic brown rice flour and a spoon of coconut oil.
Make small balls and place on a baking tray.
Put them in oven, and bake for 40 minutes. We baked at 220°C, but it totally depends on your oven, so keep an eye on oven not to burn your yummy meat balls.
When the tops are golden, take one out of oven and check if it's all baked well.
Cool them on a baking tray before give them to your pooches.
If you have leftover, put them in airtight container and refrigerate them. Try to consume within few days.
We added little amount of cottage cheese and raspberry doggie jam (we call them jam, but there is no sugar)
To make raspberry doggie jam, in a small sauce pan, add raspberries, few spoons of water and a spoon of maple syrup, boil and simmer until it looks like jam.
Enjoy! ♥
* * * DO NOT over feed your pooches * * *
Check if your pooch is allergic to any of ingredients before introducing new food
