Don't we all love the season, FALL ♥
Just perfect for walking outside with pooches and feeling nice breeze!
Plus lots of PUMPKINS ♥
Yes, we do love pumpkins.
Right after Halloween, we got a lot of pumpkins in the house. :)
So we decided to make some pumpkin treats for our babies.
Pumpkin has lots of benefits when fed cooked (not raw, not sugary, not the pie filling) and sure most of you guys know about it.
♥ You will need ♥
Organic Whole Grain Brown Rice Flour
Organic Egg
Pure Honey
Make a pie shell in a small tart pan, and freeze them for 30 minutes.
If you need pie shell recipe, here is the link.
Add steamed pumpkin in a bowl, then add little bit of water and puree with blender.
Mix purred pumpkin, egg, organic brown rice flour, cinnamon, and egg. See if it's too thick, add some water. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into prepared pie shell, then bake in oven for 10 minutes at  220°C. Then lower the temperature at 180°C, and bake 35 minutes or until the center is firm and crust is golden brown.
Cool baked pumpkin pie until it's completely cooled, then add drop of yogurt on top if you like.
Slice them into small pieces before feeding your pooches.
If you have leftover, put them in airtight container and refrigerate them. Try to consume within few days.
* * * DO NOT over feed your pooches * * *
Check if your pooch is allergic to any of ingredients before introducing new food
